Contestants are from 89 countries and territories are participating to this year's event surpassing record of 2006 with 86 contestant.

Queen B' confirms her pregnancy !!

Superstar Beyonce Knowles confirms that she is pregnant. The long rumored pregnancy was confirmed at the MTV Video Music Awards when Queen Bee appeared on the welcome carpet with her vibrant red lavinn gown. MTV has tweeted that Beyonce is bearing her first baby with long time partner now husband music mogul JayZ.

After she performed her new hit 'Love on Top' she told the crowd :  “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside me" and rubbed her belly some more.

No Sunshine Corazon for Glee Season 3

Filipino Singing Sensation, Charice would'nt be part of Glee Season 3 no more. New York Post online reported that it was the management decision to removed Charice to the hit musical series not to upset the the lead star Lea Michele. Charice was introduced in the pilot episode of Glee season 2 and described as a small kid that will bring shivers to Rachel Berry (Lea Michele). Charice played the role of Sunshine Corazon and has been a rival for Rachel and the rest of the Glee club member.

It was remembered that Charice did her version of 'Telephone' with Lea. And according to NYP's source after they did the cover, everything was changed. From original 5 appearances, Charice only in the pilot episode and the last 2 episodes of the series. The sourced of NYP said that Charice was signed for a minimum 5 epidsodes and did a press junket with fellow new star Chord Overstreet. After she had her big debut, things changed and they didnt put her back. The producers said that Lea is the big star and the ywant to keep her happy. 

Meanwhile, Glee spokesman told the NYP that the issue is some how categorally untrue. They said that they love Charice and she was a great addition to the crew. He also cleared that deduction of Charice's apperances were due to the latter's overloaded schedule and natural creative process in which some story arcs. 

Steve Jobs resigns as Apple CEO

Legendary co-founder and the man behind the success of one of the world’s biggest company - Apple resigned as chief executive after he began a dramatic fight with cancer. In a written statement, Apple announced that chief operating officer Tim Cook will take over as CEO but Jobs would stay on as chairman of the board. Art Levinson, one of the board member describe Steve as an extraordinary leader with great vision that saved Apple and has guided the company to its position as the world’s most innovative and valuable technology company.

No reason has given yet for Job’s resignation, but his health problem including a lengthy medical leave for a liver transplant in 2009 and his increasingly gaunt appearances at public events. Job submitted his resignation Wednesday, and urged the board to implement its succession plan and make Cook as his replacement.

His is the heart and brain behind the Macintosh computer, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad. 21 years old Jobs and 26 years old Steve Wozniak founded the Apple computer in the garage in Sillicon Valley in 1976.

Glee Project Announced their Winners

Glee annouced their 'Glee Project winners and soon be joining the stellar cast of today's hottest musical anthology. Glee project crowns Samuel Larsen and Damian McGinty as their winners on Sunday finale. These guys will appear on seven upcoming episodes of Glee Season 3.

In an interview, Samuel, a 19 year old dreadlocked hottie from Los Angeles utters his excitement to enter the halls of McKinley High. He said that he is all ready to be part of the Glee cast. Damian, 18 from Derry City, Nothern Ireland described his experience in the reality show as a rollercoaster ride - full of ups and down but still he and Samuel came out and proved that under-dogs can be on top.

Fellow finalists Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell will also appear for some two episodes on Glee's upcoming season.

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velaquez’ voice mesmerized the theme song for ABSCBN’s newest primetime series. The latest offer features the comeback of Primetime Princess Kim Chiu for ‘My Binondo Girl’. The title of the song is ‘Sino Ako’ and been airing in the airwaves now.

But when asked if the songbird if she will switch networks, she said that she remain to be Kapuso and she don’t have plans of transferring the station. Meanwhile, the premiere of ‘My Binondo Girl’ will be on August 22. Kim Chiu is set to pair with her new screen partners – Jolo Revilla, Mateo Guidicelli and Xian Lim. The primetime series will also stars Comedy Queen Ai Ai Dela Alas, Gina Pareno, Cherry Pie Picache, Glydel Mercado and many more.

Kapuso Starstruck alumna  paved his way to rival network ABSCBN. A tweet from ABSCBN’s gem Biboy Arboleda confirmed that the hunk is now officially a Kapamilya. Michael Paulo Lingbanan Avelino popularly known as Paulo Avelino rose to fame after he joined GMA’s reality show “Starstruck”. Too bad he didn’t bag home the grand prize.

He shocked the whole entertainment industry after she and his partner LJ Reyes admit that they are having a baby. Soon enough, they moved to US and Lj gave birth to an angel named Ethan Akio Reyes. They came back to the Philippines to continue their carrier and they are trying to win back everything they have left behind. True enough, with exert effort and dedication Paulo and Lj won their fame again. Paulo recently posed for Bench underwear, and shocked everyone in town. Sa lagay na ito, kailangan nilang magbabad ng maraming oras sa pag-aaral at pag-unawa sa sining para tunay na maintindihan ang mga bagay-bagay na dapat intindihin. Nakakadiri ang kanilang mga pangungutya dahil nanggagaling ito sa isang literal, at walang-pinag-aralang angulo ng kritisismo, at napaghahalataang ginagamit nila ang "sensationalism" na ito para maghain ng sarili nilang personal na agenda paukol sa gobyerno at pamamalakad nito.

1.)  "Na offend ako sa pagbabalandra ng halos hubad na katawan ni "kristo" sa mga simbahan. Na offend ako kasi ang parati nilang pinapakitang image ni kristo ay yung duguan, kawawa, nakapako at "patay" na kristo. Hindi ba pwede yung "buhay" na imahe ni Kristo na lang ang ipakita nila? Kayo kaya, kunin ko yung picture ng kamag-anak niyong patay habang nasa kabaong siya at ipaskil ko kung saan saan matutuwa kaya kayo? Sana po tanggalin na at magbitiw na rin po sana ang mga officials ng simbahan. Salamat.."

2.)  "Na-offend po talaga ako at tinatawag na GINOO si Maria ('aba GINOONG Maria') samantalang di naman siya LALAKE! Nakaka-init ng ulo, sobrang na-offend ako. I'm requesting na kung sino man ang magsabi ng aba GINOONG maria ay makulong! Magdedemanda ako! Mga walang galang sa INA ng Diyos! Pambabastos!"

3.)  "Basta ako na offend ako sa Black Nazarene. Hindi black si Kristo. Hindi siya "slave". Oo alam ko nasunog yun, pero para idisplay at iparada ang "image" ni Kristo na sunog... na offend ako. 6.)  "Sobrang nao-offend ako sa shape ng pala. Napakabastos! Ang baboy, korteng ari ng lalake. Na-offend talaga ako. My Personal Sentiments on Ousting Mideo Cruz' Art in CCP

Filipino Artist Mideo Cruz is being tormented for his ‘blasphemous’ art displayed in the Cultural Center of the Philippines. On the first sight, yes the exhibit was indeed has a blasphemy in nature, but we should look at it on the big picture. The artist has his own interpretation of what he has in there. And by the way, Art is described as the product or process of deliberately arranging items (often with symbolic significance) in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect. We have different ways of how to interpret and describe art.

I understand the sentiments of some catholic people who even rallied a prayer vigil in front of CCP just to kick the exhibit off. I am an active catholic since birth and I have not against the religion at all. What pisses me is how some people cannot value and respect other people’s sensitivity with regards to art. This is the exact scenario I am waiting when Lady GaGa published her music videos. Remember the music video for Alejandro wherein she ate a rosary – isn’t it blasphemous enough? She even wore an outfit with an inverted cross printed on it – isn’t it a sign of antichrist? Her latest track Judas wherein she played a mock on different apostle’s name and Jesus – these catholic people didn’t spoke anything about it. To think that Lady GaGa almost sold a million copy in our country.

To sad that this excellent artist is being bullied by judgmental people in our society. They must have the power and glory for now but this doesn’t mean that the battle is over. As a vigilant citizen I will fight for a good art and fight for what I think is right. This post doesn’t allow negative comments from anyone. This is my blogsite and I therefore have the right to invoke my innate sentiments with regards to the issue. Poor Philippines – We have great artist who doesn’t even recognized and clamored by its own roots.
