Alden Richards - No More Candy Cutie, Now a Cosmo Hottie

Kapuso young generation of leading men shock everyone with his leveled up and steaming photos showing off some cuts and skin. The photos are taken for clothing line Folded and Hung. Alden Richards has been introduced not more than two years ago via GMA's drama series - Alakdana. He was one of the Kapuso artist that was featured in teen magazines Chalk and Candy, but now the cutie has been finally grown to a full pledge hunky bachelor.

For all we know, this hunk has joined several pageants in Laguna before his stardom was launched.  He holds the titles, Ginoong Sta Rosa 2009 and Ginoong Laguna 2010. He also joined television's reality shows like PBB and Starstruck but he never won. Later we know, he is now in GMA7 and will be cast in Kapuso's new primetime series 'Beloved' with Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. In 2011, he was hailed as Golden Screen Awards' Best New Actor and 1st Yahoo OMG Awards' Amazing Male Newcomer. 

Star Cinema's Segunda Mano

 Segunda Mano, a movie of Star Cinema for 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival is one of the much awaited movies this year. A dream come true project, this is how can I describe the movie. This is the combination of gigantic talents of two rival networks, GMA-7 and ABSCBN-2. Starring the gems of ABSCBN, Angelica Panganiban and Multimedia Queen, Kris Aquino and joined by GMA’s premiere leading man, Dingdong Dantes. This is also the comeback of Movie Queen Ms. Helen Gamboa.

Ms. Helen plays the character of Adela, mother of Mabel (Kris Aquino). After the tragic death of her young daughter Marie, Adela grieved so much that she unintentionally lost affection for her other child Mabel. Adela knows that she can’t stand to lose her remaining daughter now that Mabel is haunted by a seemingly vengeful ghost.

Dingdong, on the other hand plays the character of Ivan Galvez, a rich and successful architect and recuperating from past heartache. Mabel and Ivan found love in a hopeless place. After he proposes to her, she started to experience thrilling encounters with a violent ghost that smash chaos on her and the people around her. Meanwhile, Angelica plays a very mysterious role that will make the audience think until the end of the film.

Director of the movie, Binibining Joyce Bernal attended the blog conference of the movie held at Tea Cup, Mother Ignacia. She shared motivations and visuals on how she came up with this film. She shared her personal experiences on encountering elements or ghost back in Sampaguita Pictures. Writer Joel Mercado explains how they came up with the concept of horror with the elements of a second hand items. He said that Filipinos are fond of buying signatures items but they don’t want to spend much that why many people settle for less expensive and second hand items.

I had a chance to ask Bb. Joyce about what makes Kris Aquino very appealing to horror films. In her reply, she describes Kris’ expression very communicative. She has the gift of convincing people how a certain scenario could be terrifying.

Youtube Philippines was officially unveiled yesterday, Thursday, October 9, 2011 at Blue Leaf Tent, Taguig City.

This mark the first localized taste of the popular video site in Southeast Asia and ranked 34^th in the world.

Google who owns the Youtube site refer to Filipinos being creative and habitual in patronizing the website and a great evident to this are the launch to international stardom of two local breed Arnel Pineda and Charice Pempengco through this site.

It would be remembered how Charice rose to fame after being discovered in a Youtube video singing in Korean show. But now Charice took everyone by storm and being guested in America’s premiere show including Ellen DeGeneres show and Oprah and many more. Charice is now an outstanding performer ruling over the world and vowed ever crowd. And Charice sent a video message for the launch during the event.

During the event, President Noynoy Aquino III launch the updated presidential channels atwww.youtube.com/govph and www.youtube.com/rtvmalacanang. 

President Aquino will participate in Youtube’s World View live interview series where the questions come directly from citizens. Aquino will be the first Asian head of state to participate in the program on November 4, 2011 along with US President Barack Obama. 

It’s Official - Paulo Avelino now a Kapamilya !

Kapuso Starstruck alumna  paved his way to rival network ABSCBN. A tweet from ABSCBN’s gem Biboy Arboleda confirmed that the hunk is now officially a Kapamilya. Michael Paulo Lingbanan Avelino popularly known as Paulo Avelino rose to fame after he joined GMA’s reality show “Starstruck”. Too bad he didn’t bag home the grand prize.

He shocked the whole entertainment industry after she and his partner LJ Reyes admit that they are having a baby. Soon enough, they moved to US and Lj gave birth to an angel named Ethan Akio Reyes. They came back to the Philippines to continue their carrier and they are trying to win back everything they have left behind. True enough, with exert effort and dedication Paulo and Lj won their fame again. Paulo recently posed for Bench underwear, and shocked everyone in town. There are lots of potential to this man and soon be retell as one of leading man in local show business.

MRT - Most Romantic Train (WEEHH ?)

I've been to Quezon City this morning, and from Makati, the best way to get to Quezon City ontime is to ride the Metro Rail Transit or better known as MRT.

Have you been to MRT ?

If you are coming from Guadalupe, Makati Station you will be welcome by the hot and famous billboards of Bench along with it is the legendary Pasig River. Bench billboards mostly offers gorgeous bodies and faces of different famous personalities like Kris Aquino, Dingdong Dantes, Coco Martin, Jake Cuenca and a lot more. Going up to the train station, you will smell stingky fragrance of Guadalupe Market. Yung tipong kapag naamoy mo, ay day .. sorry na lang sayo. Hindi ka man pwedeng magreklamo, nakikiamoy ka lang namang. Upon walking, you will see bunch of Jeepneys and other passengers lining up for different routes. Then you need to use the escalator to get in the station fast. But -- Sorry The Machine Isnt Working -- you walk !

Walking ang drama mo ante. Bitbit ang isang katerbang libro at magazines, tirik pa si Sunshine (Sun) at ayaw paawat ng pawis mo sa pagtagaktak - tak - tak - tak - tak - tak - tak ( ayaw nga paawat eh.) Like me, ang panyong dala ko .. wala pa ako sa pupuntahan ko, basa na ! Pwede ko nang isampay ! Imberna ! Then we reached the train station. You can see many windows - without curtain. Subdivided siya ante, sa jilid (gilid) ang mga sakto ang paylaloo (bayad) at sa jitnabells (gitna) ang chika lang (indi sakto ang bayad). At kapag shungaers ka lost ka ! Then pay (bayad) na sa windows xp (window). After paying .. shooot thats it.

That doesnt end the challenge dear sorry. That is only the beginning of the journey to forever (charot hindi naman forever). After getting the Master/Visa/MRT Card .. you will insert it to a machine to get inside the train premises. Sorry - bongastra (bobita) si anti, wit (hindi) knowing (marunong) gumamit na chenelyn (thing).
But before that, a sleepy guard will try to check your thing. Then after getting in to the machine, get your card back and keep it - its not yours dont lose it, you will be needing it to get off the train station or else you'll be dead :).

The 1 million challenge starts when your feet walk to doorways of the train without body contact. I called it 'Battle Royale'. This is the moment that you will hear yourself cursing somebody and saying F*cK***** ... Ill Share to you this conversation welcomed me and my friend inside the train:

Ate: Umayos ka nga kanina ka pa ha.
Kuya: Anong kanina .. anu ba ginagawa ko sayo ?
Ate: Kanina ka pa dikit ng dikit .. nakakabastos ka na eh !!
Kuya: Anung dikit .. hindi nga kita dinidikitan !
Ate: Kanina pa kita napapansin, nang mamanyak ka yata eh !!
Kuya: Hoy Mukha mo, hindi ka maganda para pagsamantalahan ko (applause)
Ate: Nakakabastos ka na, kanina ka pa .. yang style mo bulok yan.
Kuya: Mukha mo bulok !!!! (applause)

Actually ang problema lang ni ate ay ang mabahong hininga ni kuya. Kimembot na lang niya na nabastusan siya. Hindi man lang kasi nag effort si kuya na magtoothbrush. Mano mang magbaon ng toothpaste si kuya tapos papakin nya along the way di ba ? Or kung di nya afford ang 15 pesos na toothpaste .. buy na lang siya ng Clorretes tapos lapangin nya .. ulamin pa nya !!

Sa kakakwentuhan namin at kakawatch sa Face to Face MRT ng mga kuya at ate .. nasa Ortigas Station na pala kami. Nalagpasan na namin ang Boni Ave. Station at Shaw Boulevard Station. Trivia: Madaming cute boys na sumasakay sa Shaw .. karamihan call center na nagtatrabaho around at dyan din na nakawan si Joben Villanueva. Walang nagawa ang mga guard -- NGA NGA !! Sa Ortigas Station naman .. sakto lang madami ding cute, pero mga shuminta ! Shumintang nag gygym sa Gintong Gym sa Galle. Sa Santolan-Annapolis Station bumababa ang mga pulis na nakaksabay ko. Go Kuya .. Pess pa naman siya. But no one can beat the 'Battle Royale' in Cubao-Araneta Station -- AY KAY DAMING POGI ! FEU-UE-LA SALLE-ATENEO pagsamahin mo pa .. pero more more din ang shumita so minus 50% dedma .. may tira pa. Sa GMA-Kamuning Station ang station ng GMA Kapuso. Pagbaba mo isang tambling lang .. GMA Annex na !! If you can just see .. pakalat kalat lang dyan sa baba sila Fabio Ide at Aljur Abrenica. Kaya ako sayo bakla .. go na sa GMA Kamuning Station. At sa Quezon Ave ang rival station ng Kapuso. The historical Quezon Ave were used to be nest of birds with a low fly .. (ipilit ba?) At finally sa North Ave. Station that will lead you to the oldest SM I know. Ayan .. ikaw na magfield trip sa MRT.

Ang moral lesson ay: Mageffort magtoothbrush pag lalabas ng bahay para di mapaghinalaang manyak ! ahahaha.
