David DiMuzio - The Man on the Viral Youtube Video

A young American singer caught my attention as I was going through the net the other day.  His name is David DiMuzio  , from Charlotte, North Carolina. What I like about this man is he is an American – by look and appeal, but he sings Tagalog songs very well. He has posted several videos of him singing tagalong songs in Youtube. He performs Pop, Rock and Alternative Music.

David started to write songs when he was 11 years old when he has a huge crush to a girl he met on a camp. Unlike any other child, he looks up to musicians as his heroes. His favorite singer is Billy Joel and favorite band is Bon Jovi. When he was 16, he won the International Jugglers Association 'World Championships. He said that juggling and competing in the World Championships gave him something tangible that he could hold on to throughout a really rough childhood. He also added that gravity is always there andhe liked the fact that with enough work he could "defy" it.

David writes his own lyrics and arranges and produces all of his own music. He has also worked and wrote songs for Filipino talents; Nyoy Volante, Mark Bautista, Top Suzara, Jayzon Fernandez of Rivermaya, Geneva Cruz, Arnee Hidalgo and Yassi Pressman of Party Pilipinas.

What I personally like about this guy is he has a great sense of humor. Seeing his biography, I found interesting about him.  He said that he is a ‘Selectatarian’ (It’s like a vegetarian, but he eats things other than vegetables – SELECTIVELY.) He likes the idea of sleeping in his car and he has actually done that for 2 years. He thinks that there’s a certain amount of freedom that comes with knowing that he can sleep in his car and everything will be alright. And guess what – he has never owned a Television in his entire life.
