Pilipinas Got Talent 2 Champion, Marcelito Pomoy

A man with a voice of a woman – this is how we describe the Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 Grand Winner Marcelito Pomoy. He outstand thousands of hopefuls talents in this season and rose to be the grand champion. He sounded as exactly as Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez effortlessly. Knowing the fact that he is not a gay and clearly stood to be a straight man – he is an extremely talented Filipino. Amongst this season’s hopeful, Marcelito’s performance became a hit and viral in different social networking sites like Facebook and Youtube. At the present time, he reached over a million views on Youtube and became this season most viewed performance. It only proved that everybody is interesting about him and curiously wants to know what he has on his throat.



During his initial performance, the audience waved out when he started to sing Narito Ako by Regine Velasquez. He sounded as exactly as Regine. And after his performance, the audience lauds another song to him, and he sang Sana’y Maulit Muli, and the audience started to get wild again. Even the hosts – Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano cannot hide their appreciation to this man’s talent. The judges Ai Ai Delas Alas, ABSCBN Former President Freddie Garcia and Kris Aquino stood and paid an ovation to his performance. Mr. Garcia even mentioned that he is the answer for Season 1’s winner – Jovit Baldivino. Ai Ai even cracked a joke that the contest is over. And the rest is history.

Marcelito has an inspiring story. He strived and gambled his luck for his love for his family. His father was jailed and he was adopted by a policeman. He was away from his family and went to Manila in search for his mother and siblings who lives here. He is jobless and he wished his luck in the said competition. He also joined Talentadong Pinoy on TV5 but he lost. Now that he is hailed as Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 winner, the most watched and popular talent search not just in the Philippines but across the World. He is lucky and will be luckier.
